Green Acres Spicewood was born when Raymond and Debbie Munk purchased the property in 2015. At the time, they lovingly referred to the area as their very own “Rock Farm”. Armed with a vision and a John Deere tractor, Raymond began the painstaking task of clearing the land. Although as yet unfamous, Raymond and Debbie are legends for their ability to give life to a dream. With the help of some family and friends, the property has grown into what can be seen now and will continue to grow into the future.

Green Acres Spicewood is a unique Hill Country destination with a Christmas shopping barn, a
playground and glamping located halfway between Austin and Marble Falls on Highway 71 East.
Enjoy yourself and relax as you wander through our nostalgic slice of Hill Country Heaven. Whether it is shopping in The Barn, playing with the kids on the playground, or Glamping at The Retreat, we have everything you need to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can also take advantage of the plenty of photo opportunities around the property.

The Trailers
Embark on a journey through time with our vintage trailers, each with a captivating history to elevate your glamping experience. From "The Kit", radiating Santa Fe charm, to "The Cowgirl", our fireball once owned by a Sisters of the Fly member #77, and "The Spartan", all the way from 1949 with its original wood interior. Delve into the unique history of "The Pearl", a relic once owned by an illustrator from the Pearl Beer company and experience the allure of "The Avion", rescued from the Hill Country woods and restored by Debbie. Relive 1948 in "The Traillete" with its meticulously restored wood interior and bask in the cozy modern comfort of the 1974 Airstream, "The Ambassador". Come stay with us for an exceptional experience that weaves the past into a contemporary outdoor glamping escape!
Hill Country Cabins
Meet our cabins: The Madison, The Freya, The Sonnie and The Gus. Believe it or not, the cabins were actually construction shacks found on the side of the road. Debbie was making her weekly trek from Austin to Houston and saw them and their potential. She knew they were diamonds in the rough. Raymond enlisted the help of his friend, Mario, and they brought them to life! They are our pride and joy!

The Barn
The Barn at Green Acres Spicewood started with Debbie’s dream of a Christmas store. She wanted something straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. In the beginning, the “store” consisted of red and white tents. After braving the elements of the first year, Raymond decided it was time to build Debbie a barn. It may be just metal and steel on the outside, but the inside is a show stopper and you can feel the love when you walk in the door. Carefully inlaid wood and antique ceiling tiles are combined in a beautiful way and must be seen to be believed. Now the store has evolved into a seasonal wonderland with a lovingly curated inventory of gifts and home decor that has something for everyone at any time of the year. During the holidays, the barn is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Christmas at the barn starts the first Friday in November and goes through December 23rd. We are also open Thanksgiving week, except Thanksgiving Day, and the whole week before Christmas.
The Glamping
Green Acres is a unique spot that offers our guests a chance to enjoy the Texas Hill Country & experience glamping all in one. We have four 200 sqft newly renovated tiny homes that each have their own flair on the inside. We have seven vintage campers that each have a unique story to tell. Each unit has access to The Bathhouse that consists of 4 bathrooms (2 indoor showers) 2 outdoor showers, a community sitting area, laundry room, full-size refrigerator, ice machine. Each unit has access to the outdoor area with a playground (adult must be present), hammocks, BBQ pits, fire pits (must follow county guidelines if there is a burn ban in effect), corn hole, room to walk and enjoy our property, and outdoor dining areas. We do allow dogs, but they must be on the leash at all times. We also have a dog park and dog wash station available. We have free-range ducks and chickens that roam the property.
The Bathouse
Welcome to The Bathhouse. It has two private bathrooms with a commode and vanity in each. There are also two luxurious, spa-like shower rooms. Each one has a commode, vanity and walk-in shower with fluffy towels and a bench for your comfort. The bathhouse also has two outdoor showers for a fun open-air experience. In addition to the facilities, there is a comfy lounge area perfect for relaxing, eating, playing games or just hanging out. For your convenience, you will also find laundry facilities, a refrigerator and ice machine. Enjoy!
