Green Acres Spicewood is a unique Hill Country destination with outdoor shopping, a playground and glamping located halfway between Austin and Marble Falls on Highway 71 East.Â
The Barn at Green Acres Spicewood started with Debbie’s dream of a Christmas store. She wanted something straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. In the beginning, the “store” consisted of red and white tents. After braving the elements of the first year, Raymond decided it was time to build Debbie a barn. It may be just metal and steel on the outside, but the inside is a show stopper and you can feel the love when you walk in the door. Carefully inlaid wood and antique ceiling tiles are combined in a beautiful way and must be seen to be believed. Now the store has evolved into a seasonal wonderland with a lovingly curated inventory of gifts and home decor that has something for everyone at any time of the year. Right now, The Barn is open on various weekends throughout the year and for two months at Christmastime.
Green Acres is a unique spot that offers our guests a chance to enjoy the Texas Hill Country & experience glamping all in one. We have four 200 sqft newly renovated tiny homes that each have their own flair on the inside. We have four vintage campers that each have a unique story to tell. Each unit has access to The Bathhouse that consists of 4 bathrooms (2 have indoor showers) 2 outdoor showers, a community sitting area, laundry room, full-size refrigerator, ice machine and sink. Each unit has access to the outdoor area with a playground (adult must be present), hammocks, BBQ pits, fire pits (must follow county guidelines if there is a burn ban in effect), corn hole, washers, room to walk and enjoy our property, a dog park and outdoor dining areas. We do allow dogs, but they must be on the leash at all times. We have free-range ducks and chickens that roam the property.

The Pearl has a “Wanderlust” vibe with its two comfy twin beds, quilts and even a chandelier. It comes equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. It has fluffy robes and towels for the bathhouse. It also has a fun deck attached with Adirondack chairs perfect for catching up on all the latest or simply relax and take in the atmosphere. Remember…” all who wander are not lost”. This camper sleeps 1!
The Kit comes to us from 1952. Decorated with a Santa Fe style, this camper comes with a comfy queen bed and equally comfy bedding, This gem is the perfect home away from home. It comes complete with a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. This camper sleeps 2 and a furry friend if you have one!
The Cowgirl is our Vintage 1959 Fireball. She comes complete with her “Cowgirl Chic” decor, two twin beds, a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Everything you and your bestie need for a fun getaway is there including luxury robes and towels for our fabulous bathhouse. This camper sleeps 2 comfortably!
Meet our cabins: The Madison, The Freya, The Sonnie and The Gus. Believe it or not, the cabins were actually construction shacks found on the side of the road. Debbie was making her weekly trek from Austin to Houston and saw them and their potential. She knew they were diamonds in the rough. Raymond enlisted the help of his friend, Mario, and they brought them to life! They are our pride and joy!

Each one has a commode, vanity and walk-in shower with fluffy towels and a bench for your comfort. The bathhouse also has two outdoor showers for a fun open-air experience. In addition to the facilities, there is a comfy lounge area perfect for relaxing, eating, playing games or just hanging out. For your convenience, you will also find laundry facilities, a refrigerator and ice machine. Enjoy!
